I want to praise God for his glory and thank him for his gifts.
Yafu's works: mountains, pastures, kopecks, shepherds, he captured the desolate landscape, trying to combine his artistic imagination and passion with God's eternal and perfect creation. However, Yafu praised: "My brushstrokes will always be unable to touch God’s brushstrokes, I can only be in awe. God is the truly great artist. Looking up at his creation, I feel extremely small and incompetent..... It is God who gives meaning to our lives and souls by connecting us to his wonderful creation."

Yafu, who began to study the art of painting at an early age, received extensive art training at the famous China Vocational Art Institute and began to form his own unique style. His painting styles are diverse and personalized, reflecting different feelings and expressions in different periods, rather than being limited to a rigid method.
yafu was born in western China. It was the worst of times and he was forced to be fostered in the countryside as young shepherd. the memory of this unhappy young man is etched into his art, infused with his special sense of beauty for landscapes, dawns and sunsets.

LIGHT AND SHADOW.
Tibetan lamas and their religious life, in the mysterious and strong light and shadow, Yafu tried to explore the shadows of idols behind these lights and shadows, and deeply thought about knowing God, looking up to the true God and the true meaning of life.

This large-scale oil paining on linen created between July 2025 and June 2026,is inspired by the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman in John 4.
The work reinterprets this biblical narrative within a broader contemporary context, transforming it into a reflection on humanity's shared spiritual search. At the center is the Samaritan woman, symbolizing a moment of inner transition from confusion and longing toward awakening.
Surrounding figures represent diverse cultures and social backgrounds, reflecting the fragmentation, tension, and complexity of the world. The concept of "living water" is expressed not literally, but through spatial moment, and emotional relationships within the composition.
The painting poses an open question----"where are you?"----inviting reflection on identity, meaning, and spiritual renewal in today's world.
